Gerald and Sharon’s wedding was themed with songs from Disney animation and I was asked to use On My Way from the Brother Bear animation.

The day started out brightly and I was surprised with the massive turnout at the wedding given the fact that it was a Monday. Both houses were packed!! I do not have the luxury of space as with other shoot locations and I really have to think fast to frame my shots properly…

Gatecrashing was fun. I really like the puzzle that the sisters throw at the brothers. It is really amusing to see the brothers contort to different positions to fit the pieces together.

I adopted a slightly different approach for this video as the brothers and sisters wanted to give their blessings to the couple and I thought it will be a nice gesture to add it to the front of the video. The couple also managed to include in a clip done by their friend who was overseas and sent in the recording via email.

I started the filming after makeup commenced and hence there is no makeup shots. Gatecrashing was tough. We climbed 9 storeys to reach the first gate and Adrian had to answer the ultimate Qian Lin quiz to gain access to the door.

Fun!

I was pleasantly surprised to cover the wedding of the daughter of my ex-neighbour.

This must be one of the whackiest wedding video that I covered for 2010.

The brothers had no qualms about the games the sisters threw at them and they gamely went through it. The edited highlights obviously had more of the non-family friendly materials removed for playing during the dinner… Hahaha

It was a fun and hot day and I started the wedding shoot at a comfortable timing of 8am, which means I have lotsa rest the night before! The gatecrashing was usual but Bryan was very nervous and kept shivering throughout the wedding. I was amazed though when he could answer the Questions thrown by the sisters.

The brothers and sisters are a spontaneous and fun bunch and the whole gatecrashing was very fast paced.
As I started at 8, the outdoor shoot was done in the late morning and it was very hot! Kudos to the couple for enduring the heat to ensure that the shots come out good…

Filming a wedding at a very sunny and bright place always makes it very enjoyable. Coupled with interesting gatecrashing, spontaneous moments and the REX club, the highlights is a joy to edit.

Filmed the wedding of Jason & Vien on 13 Nov 2011. It was a hot hot day & I really like how the abundance of light made the whole video shine! The photographer in this video is Leslie whom I have partnered to offer a very competitive combo for couples looking for actual day wedding photography + videography.

Gatecrashing was tough… The brothers had to flex their muscles and get their heads wet just to be able to gain access into the house…

Sometime in the middle of last year, I put up a special notice on my facebook page looking for couple who are looking for something unique – a pre wedding concept video.

This is something new that I am moving into and I am very thankful for the trust that Dave and Leria placed in me when I did their video. Although the process was long and there were numerous NG shots, it was nonetheless a fun shoot and from this exercise, I got to know the couple better and it really helped me when I filmed their actual day wedding.

The video was based on a true story and Dave and Leria enlisted their friends to help.

It really warms my heart when I see how much effort they put in to make the concept video a successful one for them

Dave and Leria must be the most sporting couple that I have filmed thus far. Besides the traditional wedding proceedings, they are game to try out new things and I am impressed at how spontaneous and real the couple can be.

We had fun dancing outside Singapore Art Museum, at a bus stop and even flagged a bus…

This video was done on the wedding day which actually commenced at 3.30am. I really enjoyed the long but very fun shoot.

I met Dave and Leria over a year ago when they approached me to work on their wedding videography. They are a fun couple and I really enjoyed the day with them. Spontaneous and not afraid to try something new, their wedding day included doing the Visa dance at a bus-stop.
